Ms. Prema has secured FIRST Rank in M Com Exam to University of Mumbai. Indeed, this feat has made our college and the entire teaching faculty proud.
I was present in the Convocation Hall of the University recently to see my student being felicitated by the Vice Chancellor amidst all other rank holders and academicians. Ms. Prema was accompanied by her mother. The entire moment was indeed memorable as the girl from a very poor economic background achieved what everyone finds so hard to do so.
Congratulations to Ms. Prema, parents, friends and her teachers!!

The two days' audit took place on 28th and 29th of September, 2010. Our college chose TUV Nord, Germany's most reputed ISO inspection and certification agency, which audited our college. Two auditees, Mr.Bhupesh Rane and Mr.Sanjay Velankar, reviewed the quality status of every academic units and activities of the college.
All were gathered in the cool Conference Hall awaiting the Exit meet, with the auditees, to start!! Frankly, it was a nail biting situation yestarday evening!! The lead auditor, after sharing the positive and negative aspects of the task, announced eventually, "We recommend NK College for ISO recognition and now it's an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute". Trust me, there was a festival mood in the packed hall, everyone congratulating..shaking hands..hugging each other.
The success is indeed due to our most innovative Principal, Dr.Ancy Jose, ISO-Management Representative- Dr.Moushumi Datta and ALL our students and colleagues.
We thank all our students and colleagues for making our college proud!! Let us work together and grow together.

It is said that Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see, and yes indeed even with closed doors of my eyes I have seen this kindness from my college. At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. And for me that spark has come from my college. When I entered the college I had millions of questions in my mind "Will i be able to mingle into the college environment? Will other fellow students help me? Would there be an equal recognization for my efforts? And today when i stand here it seems I am at home amongst my family and all those questions seem to be mere unnecessary worries.
Life is a journey but with my physical disability this path has always been full of hurdles and obstacles but with the support that I have recieved from my parents and my college these hurdles could never shake me. Today when i get the oppurtunity to shout my gratitude to all those who had lightened the flame of encouragement in my dark life I firstly thank principal mam for all her kindness and support right from day 1 till now the most difficult arithmetic for me would be to count the number of blessings that i have recieved from her. Along with Principal mam I recieved an equally important support from Vasantha mam rai sir and all my teachers. A word of encouragement during a downfall is lot's more than an hour of praise after success.I give my heartiest thanks to everyone my parents, teachers and all the other staff for this encouragement in my life. When I was born my parents taught me to dream, I dreamt but it is my college that has helped me to make this dream a reality of my life.
