Library Celebrates Saraswati Pooja

The Library celebrated Saraswati Pooja on the eve of Dasara. The teachers, non-teaching staff and students were present in the Aarati held on 12th October, 2013.

Librarian Meets Director of DELNET

Librarian Santosh C. Hulagabali met the Director of DELNET Dr. H K Kaul on 3^rd October, 2013 and demonstrated the ongoing national project on abstracting database and shared experience of conducting COIST Certificate Course. He appreciated the initiatives and told that such initiatives were required to connect with the readers.

He assured that If need be the DELNET would try to guide and support any initiatives undertaken by our Library. Dr. Kaul, a versatile personality, extended splendid hospitality and his valuable time to our Librarian. The Librarian also met Dr. Sangeeta Kaul who equally guided on various issues of the ongoing project.

Librarian Delivers Talk at JNU, New Delhi

Our Librarian Mr. Santosh C. Hulagabali was invited to talk on 'Art and Science Online Search Strategies for Research Scholars' at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi on 4th October, 2013.
He delivered the talk under the banner of 14th Lecture Series and Outreach Programme of the JNU Central Library. The talk was attended by the JNU research scholars, Library staff, and officers of Informatics, New Delhi.

ISO Recertification Audit Successful

The TUV-Nord, Germany's ISO Recertification Audit team audited the Library on 1st October, 2013. 

Mr. V G Patil who audited the Library appreciated the services offered by the Library.

NAAC Peer Team Applauds Library and Its Services

The NAAC Peer Team headed by Dr. A M Pathan applauded the technological innovations, teaching, research and outreach activities carried out by the Library and Information Centre. In the Exit Meet, held on 21st September, 2013, he made special mention about the Library staff for their dedicated work in making the Library more user friendly. 

The Library staff and the readers thank our Principal for getting such a wonderful respect for the Library from the NAAC Peer Team.

Library Welcomes NAAC Peer Team

Our Library and Information Centre and its readers welcome NAAC Peer Team members: Prof. A M Pathan (Chairman), Prof. I Ramabrahamam (Member Co-ordinator) and Dr. Zeenat Ara (Member). The team's visit is scheduled from 19th-21st September, 2013 for the second Reaccreditation of the College.
